I'm Lindsay (Landgraff) Henry: brand consultant (and mom) by day, paper lover by night.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved paper and beautiful design. Being the offspring of two pseudo-hippies who met in art college and studied art and fashion design respectively, creativity was encouraged under our roof. It's fair to say that there wasn't a lot of TV-watching in our house. So we made stuff.
As a youngster, I can remember poring through my dad's paper sample books (he had a small graphic design studio in Toronto, Canada) and cutting out swatches to make little notebooks and cards. I owe my love for typography to the hours spent playing with dad's old Letraset letter transfers. During one family road trip in particular, I remember filling an old briefcase to the brim with pads of paper and things to sketch with. By the time we returned home, a logo, menu, and restaurant floor plan for "Nature's Cove" restaurant had been born. The technology I use now for design and brand consultancy is a little more advanced, but the same core values are still there.
Inklings Paperie has been a creative outlet for me, and a place to share ideas on using paper in thoughtful, beautiful ways.
